Default Change in conceal carry laws???

I just finished watching todays episode of "The Glenn Beck Show" on FNC.

At the end he said on tomorrow's show he'll tell us where we're no longer allowed to carry a concealed weapon.

Anyone have any idea what he's talking about?

I carry open and concealed in PA and as far as I know, the only places I can't carry is in airport terminals, shools, courthouses and federal buildings. Anywhere else goes.

Anyone know of any recent changes?

Michigan also will not allow you to carry in bars, churches, arenas and any buildings holding more than 2500, hospitals, dorms and casinos.

MSP - Pistol Free Areas

Digging around, apparently in PA the restrictions are:

State Parks - per DCNR Reg
K-12 Schools - per State Law
Court Facilities - per State Law
Pittsburgh International Airport - per County Ordinance
State Capitol Buildings - per State Capitol Police

plus the usual Federal restrictions, i.e. Federal buildings, etc.

Restrictions will vary from State to State and often change. Most recently, changes have been for the better in many States. If you travel - be sure to check into the laws of the State you are visitng. Even those Staes that offer reciprocity will expect you to abide by their rules.

That is excellent advice. Its the little things that can get you. In some states you can carry in a restaurant that has a liquor license, but not in a bar. They determine the difference by how much of the revenue comes from liquor. Other states just won't let you carry anywhere that has a liquor license. The other major difference is on rules about carrying in ones car. Some states consider it an extension of your home and allow weapons to be concealled. Do the same thing in another state where your home does not extend to your car and you have broken the law.

I say we just do what we want to since it's a free country. I wish all states would honor each others permits but as to the question I haven't heard anything.

I doubt Glen Beck is going to go through each state's law. I could be wrong, but I don't think there are any federal guidelines concerning CCDW.

When the question of applying full faith and credit, (like driver' licenses), came up before the senate. I wrote my two butt heads to ask them to support it - fat chance. My senile older is slightly to the left of Mao, and keeps pushing anti gun bills. He sent me a note back that said, as you know the bill was to do bla bla bla, but it didn't pass. Thanks butt head, it didn't pass cause you voted against it.

Please, bro, just say the idiot's names. We all need to burn them deep into our memories. I remember Toricelli. Who is the senior, stretched out a-hole from New Jersey?
