Anybody apply for one lately?? How long did it take?

I did mine back in the 3rd week of Oct so it's not that recent. But I got it back in the first week of Dec. That was Thanksgiving etc it the middle. The other guys with me sent them back in later than I did, but they're all legal now as well.

Applied 8/28/09, received 10/28/09. Did Florida at the same time, received 1/15/10.

Just had my CCW class today, the instructor was pushing the Utah permits but I don't travel that much and passed. He said that they had 60 days from the time they process your payment.

They do have 60 days and actually try to follow the law, unlike places like NJ. But they were inundated for a while, so they kind of fudged and didn't open the paperwork till they could be sure that you'd get an answer within 60 days. All the guys from our area that went thru got their permits in about 60 days.
