Default Handgunlaw.us Needs Assistance on Permit/License Statistics

The National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. contacted me wanting info on the number of Permit/Licenses issued by state. Handgunlaw.us does not have that info. I am wanting to assist him in finding this info and you are the best source available. If you could post a link to your states Statistics on the number of permits/licenses issued I will assemble them and pass them on to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. I will also keep this list and most likely post it on handgunlaw.us as I get many questions about this subject.

If you could just post a link to the statistics in your state or any you know it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping out.

She works in the Concealed Carry unit. I am not aware of the stats being posted anywhere on the DPS web sight but maybe I'm missing it.

Gary - Here in Missouri, information regarding permit holders is a closed record. I am not aware of any official state site that lists the total number of MO permits issued, although one of my sources that works for the MOHP gave me official numbers of 96,XXX Missouri permits issued as of December, 2009.

Have you guys recently changed the Hangunlaw.us site? I went there this evening and noticed that when you click on the individual states, the PDF files no longer open, but instead, you get a link to a state agency for each state.

When you are on the updates page the map takes you to the state agenties. The maps that takes you to the state pages is the main page map.
