Default New SD40 / SD9 Self Defense Pistol

What does everyone think? Cross between a M&P and a Sigma? If Smith & Wesson would make one in a compact size it would be great for the CCW market. How about a .45cal?

What's the point? The M&P is a great gun. Seems to be a solution looking for a problem that doesn't exist.

I'm not sure where this one came from either, but it should sell. It looks like the body of a Sigma with internals (i.e. function and quality) of the M&P. I don't believe it will replace the Sigma, there will always be a placy for a very low priced, quality gun. The SD just looks like a better quality weapon only slightly higher. A compact version and a .45 would be great but I doubt we'll see them. I'll take one, SD40.
