My 340PD rides in a Mika pocket holster filled with Speer GD SB's. Gun is a pleasure to carry but a bear to shoot!

I carry the ones that go BANG all the TIME and never malfunction! My Glock 26 with IWB holster, J Frame in Pocket Holster and my Kel-Tech 3AT in a pocket holster. I use Power Ball defense ammo in all three guns.//END//

1. 3032 Tomcat in pocket holster.
2. S&W 60 in molded pancake
3. Springfield Mil-Spec in molded pancake
I was not satisfied with the commercial holsters so I built all my own.

At work a G-21sf, off-duty a G-19, a S&W pc640 on rare occasion, this use to be my o/d carry several years ago before my area began to have some take over robberies with 3 suspects involved, I then looked at my 5 shot .357 j-frame and the rounds to robbers ratio was not what I thought was good odds so I switched to a higher cap handgun.
Now with possible Mumbai style attacks on the horizon in the U.S. , the 5 shot stays as a BUG and never as a primary.

I'm a photographer, and I rarely go anywhere without my camera bag. In one of the pockets, I carry a Russian Makarov .380 ACP. It will shoot anything I put in it, and makes one ragged hole at 10 yards. I carry 9 in it, with 2 loaded magazines as spares, for a total of a half a box of ammo. It's my "when I'm going unarmed" gun. In this day and age of Kel-Tecs and LCP's, I still like to have a pistol with enough heft to use as a weapon even when empty.
Otherwise, it's my 2.5" Model 19.

This list is in order and doesn't include the days that I'm at work were I carry my M&P full size and compact 100% the time.
M&P9c 80% -> Taurus 85 15% -> M&P9FS 4% -> SW9VE 1%

I'm a revolver kind of guy. My primary carry gun is a S&W 696. I like .44 Special. It gets the job done. If I'm going someplace and the 696 is a little too bulky, then I carry my Browning BDA380. Those are the only two firearms that I am authorized to carry.

My 442 no-lock 38+P is the leader. Before he arrived, I favored a Beretta .32 Tomcat. Fishing, I carry a 22, mostly a 317 2 inch...
Hiking, I have a 66-1, thinking of a 329PD for the brown bear states...

What guns do you carry the most?
One of these three.
Most often the Model 60. Slipping it in my pocket right now to go get some lunch.

On duty, S&W M&P 45.
Off duty, Glock 32 (357 Sig) with 2+ mag adapter with 1 rarely 2 magazines. Probably carried 90% of off duty time
S&W 586 2 1/2" stays in the car, with five (5) speed loaders. Probably carried 9.2376% of the time - approximately .
Am also qualified with a Colt 380 Mustang but rarely carry that one. Probably carried 0.7264% of the time - roughly.

CCW Carried;
My SIG 1911 first. My P220C3 as back up when I could be going in harms way. My S&W 342 Ti pre-lock when I am too lazy to dress around the gun.

I have three that see regular duty depending on the weather, what I'm wearing and where I'm going: My 649 with CT laser grips in a Lobo Gun Leather Enhanced Pancake holster; MP9c in the S&W De Santis holster and my Bersa Thunder .380 CC in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster or IWB and it resides in the center console of my truck 24/7 when not in my pocket.

My main carry is my Mod 4040 (the top one).
During the cold months I carry my 1066 and I have my 640-1 when I feel like it.

This most often for work, but sometimes a Kahr PM9 also in a DeSantis pocket holster. Any other time I still have one or occasionally both of these and either my S&W 1911PD with CT grips for the city or one of several .44 Spls or 325 NG around here (LH 624, TRR 21-4, or Taurus 431).

Kahr PM9 and for now Springfield XD40 SC. I would like to get the S&W M&P 40 compact for carry when the size allows, like I do the XD. I love the XD and have absolutely no complaints with it. But I shoot the S&W M&P9 for IDPA and practice so much with it that I would like to transfer that comfortableness to my carry gun. The Kahr is so easy to conceal and shoots so well. But when possible the 40 is my choice.

All of my serious guns are Glock 9mms and S&W J frames.
At work I carry a Glock 17, off-duty a 19, and I rotate between a couple of 642s and a 638.
When I am in the woods I can often be found with a S&W 317 or a 681 though.

My current CCW holster-carry gun is a Springfield Armory 1911 EMP in 9x19. For pocket carry I generally go with the S&W 340PD, and for deep concealment it's an early Seecamp 32.

Since I can't carry at work, and I spend most of my non-work time doing odd jobs on my property, the handgun that spends the most time on my person is my NAA Black Widow. I don't carry it to protect myself from bad guys; rather, I'm hoping to have an encounter with the feral tom cat that has been taunting me for months.
If I'm away from the homestead I'm most likely to have the Model 642 that I picked up last Friday. Before then it would have been my Model 60.

My decision as to what I carry now has changed since my post of 05/21/10.
I recently bought a full size S&W 1911 from their Custom shop in .45acp. It has been the best shooter I ever owned and I have owned a lot. It carries well and handles better than one could believe.
I retired the guns I carried to the gun safe and now carry this S&W 100% of the time. Got certified to carry it during the first time I shot it and did better with that first time than I did last Feb when qualifying with a gun I have carried for years.

Well gentlemen,,, My favorite three carry pieces are my,,,
Glock 27, Md#36 S&W and my Ruger LCP .380.
Not a big Glock fan but the 27 really pulled me in, my old 36 I just couldn't live without and the LCP is a new pocket carry when nothing else fits the moment!
That does it for me!
