My original intent in getting my concealed carry permit 35 years ago was so that I could carry concealed while roaming Penn's Woods.

If I'm working around the cabin I'll have my 3" 60-10 IWB w/ an season appropriate cover garment ( shirt/vest/coat)

After dinner walks/ ATVing most often a 3" 66...... but sometimes a 4" 66-1 or maybe even a 4"round butt 686-

Always have my Hunting license as Coyotes are 365 24/7 in Pa. and no orange required. So I might also have a CZ452 FS in .22mag or a Ruger 77/357 in .357mag. Both guns have detachable 5round magazines......easy to unload/load if an ATV or truck is involved..

I don't understand why it would not be possible to OC in the woods. Do you mean a city park?

Well in a city park I carry concealed like in the office, and depending on time and area I have a back up with me.

In the "woods", on horseback or on a 4X4 ATV, I have my Martin X7 26" Winchester .308, S&W M&P AR 15 Sport .556 and PPQ sidearm with me.
Hiking in the woods I carry back pack, my Martin X7 and the PPQ or my M&P 40 sometimes both.

Now U tell me, Why should I carry this in the Woods concealed and how should I do that?

In Colorado, OC is permitted in National Forest and National Parks (not inside buildings). However, the highly utilized "Open Space" areas are city/county owned, and most are restricted for OC. When hiking in the local areas, I usually carry quickly accessible pocket gun, like a Taurus 605 with fullhouse .357 158 gr loads, and a bigger .41/.44/.45 revolver in a lumbar pack or backpack.
