Default Pro CCW Deputy Sheriff

I just heard from a friend that she has received her CCW(age 68). I have worked with her at the range a little. I suggested she get a rubber ball to strengthen her fingers, this helped. She was chatting with the deputy, when he advised her to encourage her family to get one also. She said all my family now has one. I am now wondering if he is expecting a spike in local crime My friend has little knowledge of firearms, I let her handle my 1911 pro series compact, when she said "Now thats the kind of gun I need". I said before you open up your purse thats a 1000 dollar pistol. Her reaction

with the economy I think everyone is expecting a spike in crime. He doesn't know what to expect any more than general public...alot of deputies are pro carry as long as we can hand pick em(heh)
Probably like myself he sees alot of stuff and how people are just evil these days and have no respect for others or their lives,I see this in crime and driving all the time.
