Default Travelling to Chicago

I will be travelling to Chicago for the week (again). What was once one of my favorite cities has become one of my least favorite since I started carrying concealed. I will be leaving my personal protection at home again!

This year has been pretty good for the fight of CCW. It has gone farther then it has ever been. The Illinois State Rifle Association has been working hard and our Republican reps. With the Death Penalty taking away it may change some of our anti gun peoples minds... With the Illinois State Police any many LEO supporting CCW, hopefully we can join the rest of our great nation

Now if we can only get it passed the anti-gun corrupt Governor and veto him out

Du Page County bans Colt ARs.. but other manufactures are okay. LOL

As for Chicago... well they are in there own State and make there own laws.

I am happy in my Will County area

Having grown-up around the lake in Northern Indiana, I've wondered about the strict gun control laws. Is there evidence that strict control has reduced firearms incidents-fatalities and gun related felonies?

Gun control laws have NOTHING to do with reducing firearms accidents or gun related felonies or any other such "prevention" issues and the people that write/pass such laws know it.

Gun control laws are not about controlling guns, they are about controlling people.
