Not currently, but in the past I carried a Charter Arms .44. I now have a S&W Model 24 3" in the N frame style I carry once in a while. When not carrying a .44 I carry .45

If a 696 with a 3" barrel qualifies, then yes.

I carried a 329ng for a little while but I can rely a lot more on my accuracy with a smaller 638.

Years ago I bought a 24 3". I liked the revolver, but it concealed about as well as a grapefruit. Under a coat it would probably be OK, but here in South Texas it wasn't practical.

In the winter months, I carry this 624 Lew Horton Special in a strong-side holster, covered by a light jacket.

Charter Arms 44sp. Have a 1st model 3" and a couple of Pugs.
Don't carry them a lot, but they do get out of the house fairly often.

Not in a long time. Years ago I carried a Charter Bulldog with Lyman 180gr WC. Holster was a Bianchi pistol pocket for a Colt Dick Special. It carried well, but shot loose and was sold.

My 3" Model 629 Deluxe is one of my favorite revolvers. It is usually loaded with 240-grain JHP .44 Special ammunition. Strong-side pancake-style holster with a sturdy belt, concealment is not a problem.

Bulldogs occasionally. My dad wants to start using a Rossi 720 I found him. Not a S&W but we happy as we got it for $100. Just the cost of .44spl has been killing me.

I carry a 296 that I replaced the cylinder with a nightmare one. It is a great carry piece. Although not as beautiful as the ones I see picture in this thread.
Being 40, most people my age are carrying Glocks. A 44 snub is a more civilized weapon that speaks confidence in ones shooting ability.

Does a 3" 629 in a Simply Rugged pancake count? I carry 200 grain hollow point specials in it, and with the inside-out straps it is very concealable, under an untucked shirt or light jacket.

I carry a first generation Bulldog .44 with Gold Dot 200GR HP’s. She’s no beauty queen but I’ll stake my life on her to function flawlessly.

Once in awhile I carry a .45ACP 1917 Colt Army revolver with a 2 5/8" Bbl. in a apendix IWB holster. It's actualy suprisingly comfortable. But does require a loose sweatshirt or jacket to conceal.
Before someone starts forming a lynch mob (even though it's a Colt) NO I did not hack off the Bbl.

44 special blackjack
Hard to carry in my liberal state but I used an Taraus 44 special with a 3in barrel as my store gun for years, sold it off for what I paid for it after we closed up. I mostly kept it under the cash register or in my belt if the customer looked a little shady.Store was in Downtown Baltimore only had to pull it once, thank God I did not have to shoot it, but I am pretty sure it saved my live.
Very uncool to shoot a shoplifter in Baltimore, it’s apparently OK to smack a thief in the head with a 44 if he pulls a knife.
He grabbed a $600. briefcase, I grabbed him, he pulls out a steak knife, I swung my hand at his face, totally forgetting I had pulled my gun when he pulled the knife.
He went to the Hospital then jail then on to re-hab.I had to pay to have the carpets cleaned and spent 3 hours explaining to Baltimore finest why it was legal to have my register gun in my store and I did not need a carry permit to carry my gun in my store.Thank God his commanding officer was a customer.

For many years, I had a Taurus .44 Special that I had never shot. When I decided I wanted to get serious about owning handguns again, I took it to a gun shop and traded it. Didn't get much for it, but I didn't want to try to sell it outright...and later the shop owner told me it had several FTFs and then locked up tight. (He has a range associated with his shop, and always test fires used guns.)
Since then, I have had a S&W 24 - 3, and I traded it...one I really regret letting go.

I have a Charter S/S .44 that always stays in my console of my truck, loaded with 200 gn Gold Dots. Shoots very well and accurate at combat ranges. If it does get stolen...well at least it wasnt a smith.

It was rumored a year or so ago that Charter was going retro with a rebuild of the original 44 Bulldog. After they reengineer the cylinder stop; Oh I hope so.

I often carry a s&w TR 21 in 44 spl in a desantis highride. Love that gun! I have carried the S&W 24 [3"] in 44 spl, but the 4 " is eaiser to carry. Even though Texas heat of 109 makes ANY firearm a challenge to carry.

I will only concealed carry a 44 and the only one I'll carry is my 296. An ounce or two heavier with a 696 SS cylinder but still so light I don't need a holster. In fact I don't even need to draw it if it's in the correct pocket. I like that a lot.
I carry several different 3" 44s on the trail, from a 624 3" to Colt and Ruger SA 3 inchers. A Smith 500 3" in big bear country.
