Default Legal carry across the country

OK! So I have a Texas CHL and I can travel many places but some places not. I would like to go to NYC via auto from Texas. I can get through Ill by locking up empty firearm rearm in Indy then on to PA without problem. Is there a place where you could PARK your firearm( safe storage) say in Philadelphia for a week then pick it up on the way back.
Looks like towns in GOOD states bordering on BAD states, i.e. Nevada or Arizona/California. PA and NY/NJ, etc. Someone could provide that service for a small fee. Has that been done? Perhaps already discussed before. Thanks

I had this problem once and put my sidearm in a storage locker at a bus station.

Never thought about this before but you (plural) CAN "park" your gun at my house anytime. Yes, I live in the great state of Maryland but in an area very accessible to I-70, I-79, and I-68.

No fee, of course.

Be safe.

To the Big D.
Stayed in Hagerstown for 5 days and kept a little Colt DetII in the hotel. Don't think Md laws are too friendly to carry in a vehicle.
Lee camped on my GGGG Grandfather's farm on retreat from Gettysburg till the river went down.
Thanks for the offer
