Default Safariland 6378

Just wondering if anyone uses one of these and how concealable it is? I'm thinking of one for my M&P .40 FS and my M&P 9c. I've used the Blackhawk Serpa and it's served me well, but I like the idea of the protective lining of the Safariland. So, I'm looking for thoughts on the 6378 as a concealed carry option.

Thanks.

Been considering it myself, I did find this youtube review on it.

I use one with the additional ALS Guard for work and IDPA. Been using it for over a year now, very rugged and secure and very fast to draw from. I carry a 1911 and I'm very happy with this holster.
Check Optics Planet for great prices, that's where I got mine.

Thanks...I've been reading a lot of posts on several different forums concerning the Blackhawk Serpa and the Safariland. There seems to be a fan base for the Safariland, but my concern is concealment. I have a Serpa that conceals very well for me under an untucked polo shirt, and was wondering about the concealment factor of the Safariland. I'm always open to trying new things, and I do like Safariland. I have one of their "snap-on" type holsters for my Sig P239, and would get one for my M&Ps, but it doesn't appear they make such a thing...

The 6378 is a great holster. I carry a 9c in one on duty as an instructor for a large southeast Florida SO. We issue the Safariland ALS and are very pleased with them. The Serpa is a bit flatter but we have had some problems with them. YMMV
The 6378 work for you in the cooler times of the year but I go IWB down here because of the clothes we wear, almost never a jacket.

A local (well, sort of local -about 45 miles from me) supplier had a sale this last Friday (M&Ps starting at $398 with three magazines, night sights for $50 more) that included a lot of gear as well. I picked up two 6378 holsters, one for my M&P .40 FS and one for my M&P 9c...oh, and I also got an M&P .40c with night sights, too. The holsters I brought home right away, the M&P I have to go back for on Monday. I like the way the holsters carry the gun(s) but they are not really as concealable as some others. I may look into some sort of pancake style for better concealment, as I'm not that big a fan of IWB, although I do have a Comp Tac MTAC for my Sig P220, and I can get additional shells for the M&Ps as well. I'm just not that sold on IWB yet...

I was there earlier in the week looking for an IWB holster for my M&P all they had were a couple generic ones. I was surprised since MPD uses M&P's now. Didn't make it back on fri for sale because of work.
