I don't have any firsthand experience with them, and I don't know how close they are to you, but I've always read good things about Tactical Defense Institute in Ohio. They have a number of classes I'd like to attend at some point in the future.

Columbus is probably too far south for you but if you want to make it a weekend in the City, Aim Hi (New Albany Shooting Range) in the suburb of New Albany is very highly regarded. My wife and I both took their "six-hour-Saturday/six-hour-Sunday" session and learned a lot. You can Google them for a link.

Look at ccwfiringrange.com then D&D Firearms Instructors LLC, Dan is a soon to be retired LEO and teaches in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh and at his own facility and range in North Lawrence, Oh. (between Massillon and Canal Fulton)

The 7th of Oct 2011 he's going to be having a Tactical Flashlight/Handgun Advanced Course Night Shoot at the North Lawrence, Ohio location (KC'S Rifle and Pistol Club). Course costs $75, 250 rounds ammo required, Night Sights helpful, and laser sites will be allowed. This stuff is scenario shooting on the move, reloading, holster use, and proper tactical flashlight use.
