Question Experience with J R Roscoe shoulder holsters

Have any of you had experience with J R Roscoe shoulder holsters? They look good but seem a bit pricey, or is $230 a reasonable price point? Have you compared them to Alessi? My experience is limited to Lobo.

This is my experience with this joker:

Extremely disappointed in the quality of this holster! I waited almost
15 weeks for this??? Cheap thin leather with many surface imperfections,
uneven dye job, and the fit for my Smith and Wesson is horrible. My
Kimber fits much better which is a pistol not a revolver! This thing
will most likely be returned as I am not satisfied at all. It is worth
$50 at the very most! I am a Master Gunsmith and the quality of your
product is at the toy level at best. DO NOT CALL! Please email your
return procedure.

No experience with JR Roscoe Co. but I have tried and own at least 3 or 4 others. Could NEVER warm up to them, uncomfortable (always pulling) and you can't remove your jacket if you get hot or need to have free movement. I actually sold a few recently and the only ones I have kept are Military types for Military pistols and revolvers. Quite honestly, I will more than likely sell those one day as well since when I do try to wear them it never lasts long as they are still uncomfortable.

Personally, I prefer shoulder holsters over any other type of holster. Yes, the down side is you can't take your jacket off if it gets to warm, but when I CCW with the shoulder holster, I know in advance that my jacket will stay on.
As far a JR Roscoe, I have never owned one or seen one in person but from the web site pictures, I didn't care for the design or looks.
I prefer more traditional shoulder holster types like these:

Exclamation J R Roscoe Holsters

If you consider having made payment in full in May of 2016, in the amount of almost $400.00, and STILL have not received my holster as an "OKAY" record of customer service...then go ahead and buy yourself a truck load of product from these people. Telling me every two weeks when I called in that I would be getting a call in the next week to finalize my order and get shipping information is a great example of just plain being lied to by these people. If you are not capable of filling an order in the 12 week window that you verbally tell people, then you should not tell them that. I called and cancelled my order right after Thanksgiving last year. Have yet to hear back from this guys daughter. I contacted my credit card company to report them and initiated a fraudulent sales claim against them. Refusing to return my calls does not constitute ethical behavior or acceptable business practices. I am filing a complaint with the State of Texas on this sham of a business. DANGER, DANGER...Buyer Beware of this sham.

Customer service seems to be lacking.
If you take your cover garment off, anything but an IWB will be visible.
That's a moot point.
Shoulder holsters fit a narrow niche. Sometimes it's the only way it will work.
Whether this maker works or not? I don't know, but it sounds marginal at best so far.
I must add, I have never and will never pay $400 for any holster.

I ordered one for a Shield. Waited about a year. But we didn't have concealed carry here in Illinois yet anyway, by the time the holster arrived it was legal to carry. I liked it from the start. Used it everyday. Decided to order a second. It took a year also. It didn't really fit the gun I ordered it for, but it's kinda universal, so I searched the safe and found it fit a 5943 really well. I've carried that every day for the past year or so. I'm fairly happy with the product, but the slow service is a turn off.
