Welcome to TK Custom.com & Moonclips.com

These people stack the stainless steel plates and cut the the plates with a wire EDM (electric discharge machine). This results in a perfectly clean edge, and is superior to any stamped versions. It is also a more costly way to produce parts.

TK probably makes the best Moon Clips available at this time. They are precision EDM cut, not stamped out. They are a little on the high side cost wise at $60/10. I know that I think $6 each is a little high. Something to consider is that the cheapest speedloaders are $10 each, and not nearly as fast to load with.

NOTE: 38 Special Cases are not all made the same on the undercut at the rim. What this means is, that all brands of brass/ammo do not work well in certain moon clips. TK Moon Clips for the J Frame are not recommended for Winchester or Starline brass. Most other brands should work fine.
You should be able to tell if other brands of brass/ammo will work ok by checking to see how they fit in the clips.
This is not a really big deal, just something you need to know up front.

Bob

Bob I have a 640 Pro also and this is the best J Frame I have ever owned, thank you for sharing your knowledge concerning the full moon clips. Your info has just saved me some grief.

I make the clips for the S&W Jx5, 38/357 Pro series revolvers.

Costly, but they are the best and guaranteed w/o any questions.

Tom
Glad to see you posting on here.
You sell a great product.

I guess I am a Moonie. I have the 442 Pro Moon Clip, a 686 cut for moon clips by Clark, a 310 NG, 610, and a 625. I have in the past owned other 625's, 25's, 1917's and a Webley or two cut for moon clips. I about forgot an SP101 in 9mm.

I like moon clips.

I would just use Remington Brass or Federal with the J Frame moon clips. I know they will work fine.

Bob
