Default Questions from a New Member

I have my M&P9c with Night Sights coming in Thursday. My holster and belt in about three or four weeks. My license in a couple weeks.

I have a major hearing loss due to an ear disease so I am now shopping for what would be the best hearing protectors to not have shooting affect what hearing is left. 85% in the right is is left. So I am open to advice on brands and model. Do not want the expense right now of the electronic models.

I am also open to advice on a gun safe that is quick to access in the dark. We have grand children over so (and spend the night one night a week) I have made the agreement with the wife to have it locked when they are here and during the night. I want something close to the bed the kids cannot access. Again I am open to advice. I have been looking at the Biometeric vault if anyone can give me real world experience and not hear say.

Glad to be back in the S&W world.

If this is not the correct place to post this I have no problem with the moderator moving it.

Ted

If shooting something really loud I use the foam ear plugs with my regular ear muffs. Kind of doubles the protection.

I use two of the StackOn digital safes. They are about $90. You will only need one. They have two shelves and hold plenty. They are not fireproof but they are very good safes. They are secure and you can get into them quickly.
