Default DON'T YOU JUST LOVE SPRING??

Yesterday was a .38S&W, Sig.380, and a SCCY 9mm.
Today was an Uberti replica 44Colt SAA, and a Ruger in
44Spl/44Mag. And after all that, some barley pop and some
locally made jerky.
Can anybody top That??

Actually Spring is my LEAST favorite season. Pollen, sneezing, itchy eyes, green stuff all over everything! Not to mention the rain....... although this spring is like June and we are having a drought right now.

My favorite season is Fall. I actually like the Winter too. Summer is OK if it is not brutally hot. I shoot outdoors all year, even in the snow as long as it's not too deep. I just make sure to shoot Revolvers in the snow so I do not have to go chasing brass in the white stuff!

Were you concealing that Uberti or properly displaying it?

If I could conceal that SAA you can bet I'd be carrying
a full-size S&W, either 45ACP or similar wheel-gun. The owner had
stoked it with smokeless ammo, so you could even tell where your shots placed.
I wonder if enough black powder smoke would help with allergies?

I can relate to seeing where your shots place. Back in the 80's I use
to carry, of all things, a Ruger Old Army .44, which is a black powder
revolver to those who may not be familiar with that model.

I was good with that gun, but one day I was on, I mean really on.
After a range session at a friend's Dad's house where we had been
shooting out behind his, very large, garden, I received a challenge.

Unbeknownst to me, his Dad had put a med size tomato on a stump
back behind the garden, which had to be 75 yd's from his house.
When we got up to the house his Dad, who had been calling me
Wyatt Earp that day, said, "Hey Wyatt, think you can hit that tomato?"

After he pointed it out I played it safe and said, "I doubt it, but I'll give it a try."

Also, to play it safe I loaded all of the chambers before giving it a shot.

I took that first shot and heard everybody hooting and thought,
"I'm never gonna live this one down."

As the smoke cleared from in front of me I was surprised to see the stump empty.

Boy did I luck out that day and was the only one that didn't get to see it happen...

I love spring! That's the time of year that Hawai'ian shirts return from the back of the closet!

Sounds like fun TACC1. I have been thinking about grabbing all of my 3 handguns and going out to shoot a box or so through each so I can have an excuse to give them a good cleaning. 70 degrees here today with a light breeze and crystal clear skies. Yard's all mowed and trimmed. No one around for miles. That's it, I'm going to do it today!
Peace,
gordon

There are some things in this world that take the sting and bitterness
out of the usual grind. Enjoyment of good shootin' irons is right up
there!
Now it's time for the little guys! Hope the rain holds off! TACC1

Yes, when a ruby-throated hummingbird flies up to your alarm company colorful decal, you know it's time to put out the feeders.

Went to the range on Friday, temp. around 50, lots of
clouds. Not great weather, but in that light, I could actually
Focus on the front sight-blade.
I think I had my first oil-induced FTF with an NAA Ranger.
Three of five wouldn't fire, twice. Loaded in some fresh ammo,
and blazed away.
It still beats yard work. (Lawn already mowed twice)
