I've tried Uncle Mike's holsters. Other than maybe the Kydex, the only ones I like are their pocket holsters (and then, only with smaller guns). Better quality (and usually more expensive) holsters just do a better job all around. They conceal better, they are more comfortable, and often they last longer.
I started with the inexpensive UM IWB. They seem like good options since they are OK for any gun of the same type and size (i.e. 3-5" K-frame, medium auto, etc.) and are inexpensive. They are OK for deciding if you like a new carry type (like IWB or OBW) as long as you give allowances for the fact that a better holster will be a better holster.
I have a couple inexpensive unmolded leather holsters from other makers and they are much better than the UM's I used to have. I have several from Galco and a couple from DeSantis that are inexpensive and competitive with UM, and they are
much more comfortable holsters that do a much better job holding the gun. IMO, you'd be better off with the Bianchi. Also, check some of the custom makers, they sometimes have some non-molded "economy" versions of their more expensive holsters. High Noon Holsters for instance have some that are pretty inexpensive (some of the IWB holsters start at $29.99). I have a tuckable "Hidden Alley" for my Taurus PT 140 Millennium Pro which I like quite a bit.

Edit: Oops, don't bother with High Noon Holsters for your purposes. I wasn't thinking. They don't have many revolver options unless it is for a J-frame/small frame revolvers, and I don't think they have any IWB holsters for K-frames.
