Anyone know what a Crossbreed Super Tuck "Shorty" is???

I was getting ready to place an order on crossbreed's seconds website for a Super Tuck "Shorty" for my M&P 40c. Any idea what a shorty is? I don't see this option anywhere on their regular website?

Also it is a Horsehide what is the difference between that and Cowhide? What are the benefits?

It says it is in "good" condition for $40 plus $8 shipping is this a good deal or are there better options for a similar product that would be more inexpensive for similar quality?

When they say shorty it just means the leather at the bottom of the holster has been trimmed off. And horsehide, IMO is much more comfortable then cow hide. I have a supertuck for my mp9c that I did my own combat cut on, it's also horsehide. Very comfortable. And for 40 bucks plus shipping, I'd jump on that deal. You won't regret it.. Paying half price for a great product

The horsehide is also more moisture resistant than cowhide so it would be a better choice in warmer climates. You can't go wrong either way. From the Crossbreed site FAQ section "Horsehide is a denser and tighter grained flesh than cowhide. This results in it being more moisture resistant. Customers in very humid climates or who tend to sweat heavily find this to be a useful option as horsehide tolerates dampness better. Horsehide is only available in natural as it's moisture resistance can also cause it to not take dye well. Additionally, the natural finish is very attractive on Horsehide."

Trimmed off by Crossbreed or the previous owner? Do you have the SuperTuck Shorty for your M&P9c? Or was yours just listed as SuperTuck Deluxe?

I'm pretty sure crossbreed trims the bottom, and mine is the super tuck deluxe

I'd be interested to see your holster, because I was considering doing the combat myself as well. Could you possibly post a pic?

I'm not a fan of crossbreed holsters! Product is made well Its not a good fit for me.
