Congratulations. Now is the time to get a good concealable holster and practice before carrying.

In Tennessee it can take up to 90 days by law as the maximum for your permit. My oldest daughter got hers in 21 days (three weeks) when I got mine it was about 24 days and now there are so many taking permit classes that I am sure the state will be swamped with new permits and I might see it taking a little longer!

Congrats. I have had mine since I was 21 in three different state so far. The Florida CWP is the best to date. Reciprocity with most of the U.S.

Do not worry it will get to you if in Tennessee before 91 days, that is the law here! It might take a while but you will get it as long as you have the ability to legally own it!
Tennessee is a "Shall Issue State" so just wait it will come sooner than you think, of course from someone who has had a permit for quite some time that might sound arrogant but just bide your time, when I got mine Tennessee was not a shall issue State and you had to have a really good reason to cary a firearm, which I did!

Next please get a copy of "The Gravest Extreme" by Mass Ayoob. While dated it contains info about responsible ccw that most folks outside of LE never find out. Practice often and stay safe.
