Default Here I Go Again

Once again I fall for a 4" N frame, and once again I sell a perfectly carryable gun - Commander - to finance it. Now I'm stuck in the same leather rut I'm always in when I do this. Nobody makes a decent carry rig for a 4" N frame. Unless you have 26 weeks to spare, in which case the Sparks PMK looks perfect.

Why don't leather manufacturer's -- factories at least -- take this gun seriously? There are plenty of them out there, in all kinds of reasonable calibers. I don't mind the weight -- it's no heavier than a fully loaded 1911. The PMK is such a good design (basically a 55BN or Bianchi 4L for revolvers), you'd think everyone would have a version of it.

Try Kramer. They list some N frame S & W's.

I have been using Hume 721 OTs for years, for K, L, and N frame guns. Perfect? No but sure better than a 6 mint++wait. I also like my Kramer for my 329--it is almost a straight drop.

I bought an IWB rig for an N-Frame last year from LOBO gunleather. Ray, the owner is a Forum member. I got it in a couple weeks and it was VERY reasonably priced. It was also excellent workmanship.
Check out his website, you won't be disappaointed.

Thanks. I was hoping Hume had something, but didn't know the model number. Will look into Lobo too.

The Galco SUM126 isn't bad, but it puts the cylinder above the belt and that feels unstable. I realize it's a big cylinder, but I'd rather it was inside waist and not above it.
