Does anyone that is sane think that a "
Gun free zone" will stop a criminal from taking a gun with the intent to perpetrate a killing with the gun? Anyone that is sane would say no it wouldn't. So how do you fix this problem?
Criminals or those that are insane do not really care or pay attention to any laws that get in the way of doing what they want to do be stealing from you or others or even going so far as to murdering you as well as your family for ill gotten gain of a few dollars and some trinkets, or their desires at the time!
How to fix it is to allow concealed carry by those in the school system regardless of position including the janitor. Of course they should be trained and show proficiency in the use of their sidearm.
Do away with the Gun Free Zone at schools from elementary to graduate level and the criminal will know that an armed civilian will possibly be where he or she intends to perpetrate his or her crime or outburst of insanity!
This must be the minimum to protect ourselves and our children. Background checks and all other legislation proposed to date are meaningless, and have even been acknowledged by those legislatures proposing such laws, so why even propose them...to take away the right to an inanimate object, might as well be blankets or pillows or knives or rocks or you name it.
Guns themselves or the magazines that feed the ammunition nor the action of these weapons regardless of capacity can not commit a criminal or criminally insane act of murder or suicide or mass murder.
Gun Free Zones = Crime zones!
