Default Talon grip question

I just installed talon rubber texture grips on my m&p9c and really like them, but the gun is still slipping in my hand a bit more then I'd like. Is there anyone that uses that granulated texture for their edc? I've read some people say it catches clothes while others say it doesn't after a light sanding? I also have a lobo leather iwb holster on the way that I want to take good care of and I am worried the granulated might tear up the leather a bit? I do have a slide shield so there will be no problem with skin contact.

Is there anyone with some experience the granulated texture in a leather holster? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the Lobo for the 9c but I have a Shield 9mm in a Lobo IWB with the slide shield and the grip does not contact the leather at all. The grip will still be against your skin. You will love the holster. It is very comfortable to wear. I forget that I have it on.

Nice to hear thanks for the reply. I'm thinking ill just buy on of the granulated grip and just test if it will rub at all with the 9c. Cant wist to get the lobo in, first nicer holster for me just don't want to tear it up. Thanks again for the quick reply

I have the Talon granulate grips on my 9c. When I carried with my White Hat Holsters Maxtuck (combat cut) the grip was uncomfortable against my skin and did catch on some clothing. Light sanding of the grip with 120 sand paper fixed the problem while still giving me a secure hold on the gun when firing.
I have the Talon rubber grip on my 9 Shield. Very comfortable to wear but I haven't had a chance to practice since I put on the grips.
Note: I have found that my Shield fits well and secure in almost all of my 9c holsters saving me a ton of $$$$

I have used the granulated grip and it does give a nice solid grip. The problem is if you use a IWB holster w/o a T-shirt it will wear your skin raw.
