Exclamation PA state lawmaker in "shootout"!

State Lawmaker Involved In Gunfire | WNEP.com

Representative Marty Flynn (D) of Scranton was involved in an... altercation... involving gun fire. Having a PA LTCF, Flynn was able to defend himself and another lawmaker from armed thugs.

I'm glad PA has some D's like this in our state law. Hopefully he'll be a friend to gun rights if this election gives us Tom Wolf.

That's something else!

I was quite pleased when I hears that story last night.

I agree, hopefully our lawmakers stay true to PA values in the upcoming years.

As long as he feels that the law applies to everyone not just a privileged few as most D's do.

Glad thing worked out in his favor.

Yes, caught it in the local paper this morning. I do hope he will support 2nd Amendment issues in the future.

Those two don't look like fish-food to me. I'm surprised a couple of punk kids would try to take them on. Looks like it turned out to be a nearly-fatal mistake for them. Shame the lad wasn't a better shot.

That'd be cool, but I doubt he'll diverge much info at this time.

I guess I should not have judged a book by its cover. When I read it and nobody got shot I thought perhaps he was just shooting warning shots. I mean if there were four of them or so how could he miss?

Most Ds feel that everyone has the same rights. Labeling people as pro or anti based on party affiliation is counterproductive and divisive. I spent a weekend at a wedding where Ds and libs in general were in the majority, many who are aware of my interest in guns and the second amendment. A couple of conversations involved SA issues , when I replied that my wishes were not for a return to gunfights in the street and that CCW carried a increased responsibility to conduct oneself in a more responsible manner, I could see a change in attitudes and perceptions about gun ownership and the SA.
