My wife's new CCW: matching his and hers
My wife has been looking for a new option for concealed carry. She had an LCP but hated it. She rarely carried it because she just wasn't comfortable with it. The long trigger pulled her off target, and it was too snappy in her hand.
After some research online and in person, she decided on a Sig P238. She was impressed with my P938 and wanted to try the .380.
So now, we have almost matching carry guns! Sure, hers has a rainbow titanium slide, but other than that, they're practically twins!
She's very excited, and for that I am happy. I picked it up last night, so we have yet to take it out. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we will have been able to put a few hundred rounds through it. The extended magazine / grip extension should arrive tomorrow.

The slide is almost pure purple (her favorite color) on top. I was skeptical about the rainbow finish, but I think it's actually pretty slick.

I really like the feel of the P238. Depending on how it performs, I might pick up my own some day. But maybe not the rainbow model.... Maybe...

Dang. I'm getting jealous here.
That is a rather attractive gun there.
I've been interested in a P938 for a while, I just don't have the funds.
Congrats to your wife!

Main thing is that she is happy. For several reasons. But if she don't like the feel of her carry gun she will not take it along. Same reason the guys have 5906-G something's - colt something else and the lovely J's

We finally took it out today.
Her first shot from 7 yards was an inch to the left of the three inch diameter center circle I made for her on a chest size target. Follow up rounds from the two mags were in a ten inch circle. Not too bad for her first time with the gun and first time shooting in a while. Plus, she was basically point shooting.
Together, we went through 200 flawless rounds of 95 gr FMJ. I did less than 50 of the rounds. I found it to be a pretty sweet shooter. By far the most accurate an easy to control "micro" .380 I've ever shot. At 50' I had a three inch grouping with 8 (slow fired) rounds.
We're both very pleased with her newest addition.

About 2 years ago the LGS showed me the rainbow, I didn't know what to think.
Now I think it is one nice looking pistola.
I picked up a P238 Equinox last July and am totally satisfied with it. I am sure down the road a P938 Equinox will also be purchased.
Check out the Sig site, so many different offerings, makes it hard to select just one.
