Default 3 more applications in the pipeline

I passed my concealed test last weekend with a 100 on the written.

Audited the class today and made sure the wife and a friend of hers had a perfect experience. Brought my wife and a buddys wife home with their sheepskins this afternoon. It was a good day at the range.

Very nice. The NRA Basic Pistol course is a really good one.

Just out of curiosity, how long did the course take?

Ras,
I took the same one. Mine was 6 hours. 5 in my class and the instructor was deliberate and made sure every question was answered.
The test at the end took about 1/2 hr.

I was extremely lucky, that weekends course was postponed due to a bad snowstorm. The instructor offered to meet with me the following week and I had him one on one. His course took about 5 hrs. Then we went to a range and did some shooting. I qualified with my 9mm but got to shoot a few of his pistols also. My shooting improved tremendously just having that time one on one with him at the range. All my bad habits learned from shooting alone at home got busted.

I was so pleased that I signed my wife up for the next course coming up and a friend of hers joined as well. My wife got a 98 on the test all on her own I didn't meddle at all. She qualified with the 9mm also but I learned we will need to find her something more lady like, she can't rack the slide without a lot of effort.
