Easier to conceal: m13 vs glock 23
I was wondering if anyone knew which of a M13:3 (unsure yet if is has round butt), or a glock 23 would be easier to conceal OWB under a long untucked dress shirt or light jacket? I'm looking at a M13, and have the Glock 23 now.

Generally speaking it is easier to conceal a flat gun (semi-auto) than a round gun (revolver) due to the cylinder bulge. Body type and holster arrangement do make a considerable difference. I have carried both a Glock 19 and a Model 64 3" RB very comfortably and very successfully in an OWB strong-side holster behind the hip under a loose untucked shirt..

I can conceal an M&P 45 full size without difficulty while carrying OWB. I would think either of those will be fine.
Look, you know you want it, jut get it. Figure out how to conceal it after you have it in your hand. If you're considering trading the G23 for one, I'd say don't do it. Save up and get the other one. Then you can pick and choose easily what you want to carry.

Nope, the G23 is a keeper. If it is a round butt I'll be more inclined to pick it up. It is a 3 inch however which will bring me back for a second look.

OWB under a coat or vest there would be no difference. Under a shirt, the G23 would be a bit better. Both will conceal under a slightly oversized heavy material T-shirt with a proper IWB. I would use the one from Andrews Custom Leather for either handgun.

1. Glock Model 23 : Flat, but square butt does not blend in with body outline
2. S&W Model 13 : Blend in with body outline, but cylinder budge is difficult to conceal
3. Glock Model 23 : 15 shot and rapid reload / S&W Model 13 : six shot and slower reload
First choice= Glock Model 23
