Tell you what.....I'll let you stand in front of me at around 3 yards. I'll shoot you with a FMJ .380-my load of choice and then you can tell me what you think about the 380's stopping power. Now mind you, I may shoot you twice!
Hell, for that matter I'll press my little NAA .22 revolver up against you, let loose with a shot and you can tell me what you think.
These threada are a silly exercise-as our 380 sage Erich has said many times over Shot placement is king-everything else is how many Angels can dance on a pin head

I'll let you stand in front of me at that same distance and I'll shoot you with a .380 JHP and let you tell me what you think about it...if you can talk.

LOL Nope the 380 is a poor choice for self defense which is why I don't own one anymore. All kidding aside I would not want to be shot by any caliber. You think a shot in the arm at the doctors office hurts? Now imagine a dull needle 500 times bigger jabbing into you. Hold still this will hardly even hurt. It would be better saying this will hurt hard.

He advised to use PMC 88 grain JHP ammo which I did. I conducted tests with the weapon and cartridge and was very impressed with this combination.
A dealer here told me that the states arson investigators carry that same round. He said they buy it regularly, from him.

I once had this dilemma over game killed with a 410, and a 12 ga. So I asked the rabbits, and squirrels. Guess what? They couldn't say which one was more deadly.

Geeeesh... thread goes back to 2014.

My thoughts on the subject haven't changed any. How about you guys? What's that you say? No? Ok... didn't think so.
