Nevada has put out a new list of states it will honor. They just changed their statute on how they would honor other states. First they dropped Michigan and New Mexico. No big public announcement just updated their listing. They now list these states with the all cap states additions to their original list. They did honor 14 now it is 22.

Alaska, ARIZONA, Arkansas, DELAWARE, Idaho (both types of permits), Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, LOUISIANA, MINNESOTA, MONTANA, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota (both types of permits), Ohio, OKLAHOMA, RHODE ISLAND, South Carolina, Tennessee, WEST VIRGINIA, WISCONSIN AND WYOMING.

They also did honor just the North Dakota Class 1 and the Idaho Enhanced. They now honor all the permit/licenses these two starts issue. You can view the listing at the below link. Handgunlaw.us will be updated late this evening or early tomorrow with the changes listed above. This will be the last update this month. There are numerous updates to states with law changes going into effect July 1.

Well, that's good news, but my wife and I just completed a CCW course in Las Vegas last summer and now have our NV permits. I guess it's a good backup just in case they change their minds again.

I think all the Western states should stick together regarding CCW reciprocity. It would make driving around in them so much less confusing and more comfortably enjoyable.

A few years ago, Nevada dropped Arizona reciprocity. This was a source of much annoyance to me, as the wife and I hit Las Vegas every now and then. As of June 17 of this year, they added Arizona back. Being so indecisively fickle is not conducive to confidence on the part of us Arizonans.

Oregon and Washington need to get in step - it appears that these states are now run by a bunch of hoplophobic politicians.

I appreciate that I can now drive pretty much from Arizona to Pennsylvania (avoiding Illinois) and still be quite legal for CCW. I hope to see the day when ALL states honor other states' CCWs. I suspect I will be long dead and gone before true Constitutional carry is uniform throughout all 50 states. Sad, because the 2nd Amendment is quite explicit that keeping and bearing arms shall NOT be infringed. And yet misguided politicians infringe away, mostly with impunity.

Kalifornia needs a complete overhaul. I pity the residents there, I really do. I shudder when I cross the Colorado river into that den of illogical political craziness.

NV used to honor FL a few years ago but both states dropped their relationships. Never have been able to find a reason why.
