What works for us, may not be at all comfortable for you.
Unfortunately, you'll need to try a few and hopefully, you'll find what works for you before you acquire a box full.

Where on your waist are you considering?
Appendix (2o'clock)?
AT the hip (3o'clock)?
Behind the hip (4-5o'clock)?

My 9c hangs out in a Galco stow-n-go.
Comfortable at the 4-5 o'clock position. I'm happy with it for now

I use a desantis IWB from Bass Pro. Very comfortable IMO, but as others have said what's good for me may not be good for you. I have worn it for over 7 hours at a time without any discomfort.

Any of the numerous holsters similar to the Galco TR 47 that moxie showed in his post above. That's assuming you're going to be using a 'real' gun belt. The holster is only half of the answer with the belt being the other half.

If you're going to carry appendix, no cant. At 3 o'clock or later, forward cant.

Your name indicates you may be female. If so, there are some good You Tube videos by women for women on different carry options. I researched them to help my wife make decisions on her preferences.
