CC with Talon Grips
While shooting at the range for extended periods I noticed my grip on my PC Shield 9 was degraded by perspiration. I decided to purchase some Talon grips with the granulated texture and was happy with the added grip. Then my new Alien gear 3.0 IWB and belt arrived (which I love) and I started carrying. I noticed that the Talon grips were catching on my clothing and causing some drag. Now I'm thinking of removing the grips. Has anyone else had this issue and any suggestions? Thank you for your input.

Get the rubber one. The granulated are excellent on grip but tough on hands and catch clothing easily.

I had the sandpaper texture Talon Grips on a Glock 23. I went over it with some 100-grit sandpaper to dull the sharpness a bit so it wouldn't catch on my clothes. It worked well for me.

I've got the rubber ones on my XDs 45.
Can't compliment them highly enough. I had used another type of sandpaper grip before, these are far and away the best.

I put the rubber Talon grips on my Shield 9mm and have had no complaints.

I have the rubber Talon Grips on my SD40VE and love them. I also carry in an IWB holster and have not had any issues with my shirt catching on them. The feel is excellent with these, a the only issue is why did it take me two years before putting them on my pistol?

Matt

I have the rubber Talon grips on all my autos. Plus I have a sheet of the rubber material on order so I can make grips for my P64. The rubber never catch on my clothes.
