Default waiting out the process

I applied for my CC on March 10th; still waiting. They say 90 days. I know of someone who applied before me that already has hers. Even though we live in Oklahoma; there are still so many places that have "No Firearms" signs. We are also a state that is legislating for legal open carry without a license if 21 years old or older without a felony record. Still, I value those classes that I took for CC. I don't care what the outcome; I would take them over again. I learned a lot of fundamentals rom those classes.

So, he question is, how much before you did your friend submit her application? You are halfway through the expected 90 day period and sometimes the state can use every minute and sometimes they don't. I see all sorts of variations here in Texas.

Does Oklahoma have a statutory No Firearms sign or just any old NO GUNS ALLOWED type of sign?

Florida says 90 days but took them 99 days to get my non-resident permit back to from the day they received it ..

Looks like you still have just over a month you might be waiting .. it will seem to drag on .. would suggest you practice drawing your pistol from the position you intend to wear it .. wear it around the house to get use to wearing it and to not touch it .. a habit of new conceal carriers .. of always checking that their weapon is still there ..

But it won't be long before you can due the Wally World Walk !!

Good luck and stay Safe !!

It took 63 days to get my Oklahoma handgun lisence, as far as no handgun signs there is no standard for OK. And also the sign carry no weight of law, if they see you and ask you to leave and if you don't they can call police and you can be fined for trespassing.
