EDC Carry - Revolver or Other
Poll to see what people carry for every day concealed carry.
Not interested in make or model, pump shotgun behind the bed post or the Glock 31 in the bed side table just a review of revolver or not revolver for EDC.

I carry a poly framed subcompact for my EDC because I consider it expendable. I guess I hold my revolvers in higher esteem.

As of now a semi auto, but seriously thinking of going back to a J frame size Rev for carry.

Right now, I've been carrying a 442.
Once the weather gets cooler and I start wearing flannels, I might switch to a GLOCK 26.
I have a couple Milt Sparks VM2's on order so that might change things too.

I couldn't accurately vote because I carry both revolver and auto equally.

If I was going to carry a revolver it would be my 642, but I just don't shoot it all that well. I keep it because it's fun to shoot and it's a cool looking little revolver, I've had it forever. For carry, it's just my Shield 9 or maybe my Glock 19.

My Primary carry pistol is a Sig P228 9mm and in the summer when it's hot and I'm in shorts and a tee shirt it's a S&W pre Model 36. So in the summer I can be both.

I voted "other than revolver" because it was, technically, correct. There should've been a "both" option, however.

My primary carry for the last few years has been a revolver. Normally a 2 1/2" or 3" K frame in .357, or on days when weight and size matter more, a 3" Model 60.
When it really has to be small and low profile, I carry a .380 ACP semi-auto, which I also carry from time to time as a backup.

In hot weather, 640 Pro, in cooler weather when the jackets come out it's a 2.5" PC 686 7 shot.

I've carried a revolver just about every day for the last 20 years. The 340 M&P and the SP-101 are the current choices.

How about both? I alternate between a M60-9, M457 and a Kimber Ultra Stainless TLE, depending on what I'm wearing, my mood and what I haven't carried lately. Yes, I shoot all three fairly well, thank you!

Yeah, why not both? My edc is either a Shield or a Model 49. Today, it's the Shield. That said, I feel equally comfortable with the snubby. Depends what day it is.

I've pocket-carried a no-dash 640 the year around for a good many years.
Considering a Ruger LCP for dress occasions or backup, but I trust a revolver more.

I used to carry my S&W mod 37 in a pocket holster. But that was
before I bought a Glock 43 9mm. After enough rounds through the
G43 to prove reliability it resides in the same pocket and the 37 does
HD duty along with a few others at different locations around the
house.

Started with a 66, downsized to a 640 and 20 years later to a 340.
And I don't need to pick up my brass.
