Picked this up today and I'm looking for suggestions for a OWB holster.

Here's a Don Hulmn breakfront holster with my model 69:



I cut the retaining strap off of it to accommodate the optic making it an open top holster.

Here is a fabric pancake that holds it high and tight enough for concealed carry:

I think your scale needs calibration. There is no way an L frame and a holster is almost 2 quarts.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake with my M69. Works great, and it's carried 2-3x per week.

I bought a Fobus Roto Paddle for carrying around in the woods. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done for like 20 bucks I think.

2nd on Simply Rugged Sourdough, great field and cc holster. I carry mine in a Don Hume J.I.T. Slide. Minimalist holster, conceals with long tee or other untucked shirt.
