Well my wife already grabbed the model 60. The LCR is in her glove box. Which do you choose.20161226_100734.jpg

For every day carry?

Easy choice. Pocket holster and the 642. You will never leave home without it.

642 or 640 for all-around concealed (including pocket) carry.

I can't decide. Maybe the 66 with rubber grips. I have a few J-Frames.

What will you be most likely to carry 24/7? That's the bottom line for me.

For me it's a 640. Your mileage, etc.

Since it's cold and there's snow on the ground where I am... I'd grab the 2-1/2" Model 66 with the rubber grips.

I have carried a 19-4 snub for the last 7-8 years and at times carry my 642 or 640 as a bug. Lately it has been my 640 .38 in a Front Line paddle holster that has had the most use. All that said you cannot beat a K frame snub for EDC....IMHO

As pretty as the rest are, I'd havta say the 642 for everyday carry. Even though it has that ugly hole in the side.

Usually a 640 with full house magnums or a 642 with Buffalo Bore 158 grain +P's. The 640 always in a shoulder holster, with the 642 IWB or in a coat pocket.
Always carry, never tell.
