NH Constitutional Carry
New Hampshire appears to have clear sailing to Constitutional Carry, now that Maggie Hassan is no loner Governor.
With a Republican governor, ‘constitutional carry’ sees a clear path ahead
Far better or the states to do it on their own instead of the current federal overreach.

Congratulations, once that passes let me know how many states will provide reciprocity with your New Hampshire non permit. Basically you'll be able to carry in Vermont, Arizona, and Alaska. I happen to believe that the present requirement in most states for a permit to carry is a good one and would much rather see National Reciprocity than "Constitutional Carry".

Missouri will. After January 1 of this year, no permit required. If you wish to carry into the restricted areas (schools, churches, gov't buildings, etc.), you must have a CCW permit or carry under LEOSA, regardless of whether or not you're a Missouri resident or out of state.

Yes, but if you never pick up the football and run, your uniform will stay clean, but you will never win either.

Not really a big deal. Most of us in New England who want carry in other states get a Utah permit.

I don't live in NH. My state also has CC, however.
Around a dozen states trust their citizens to exercise their 2nd amendment rights without government interference, with more on the way:

If Constitutional carry becomes the law of the land, actually it still is, that would be far superior to reciprocity. That would mean one of out God given rights has been finally recognized by the government. I think a new supreme court would finally solve this issue. When we instituted Constitutional carry in Arizona the anti-gun crowd cried there will be blood in the streets, never happened. The only blood in the streets are Chicago, NYC D.C.,and Detroit. how is the most restrictive gun laws working out for them.

The biggest problem with Constitutional Carry States as of this date is you can't carry out of state .. and you still need to get a Conceal Carry License to also carry in restricted areas with your own state ..

Iowa is going to try to pass CC
We now have both houses of the legislature and the governor all Republican and openly talking about CC...one senator announced he has a bill ready. Until it's passed though, anything can happen. We may find some Republicans who voted for shall issue carry in the past getting cold feet. Only time will tell.
I am not in favor of national carry legislation. Once the swamp people get involved we could rue the day we went for national laws. I also would not trust a Supreme Court with only 5 pro- 2A members. Scalia himself endorsed reasonable gun laws in one of his opinions(Heller I believe).
Remember history shows we switch back and forth from Dems and Repubs. I would much rather rely on state lawmakers we can directly influence.

I renewed my Missouri CCW knowing the state congress was going to override the veto of the FORMER Missouri governor.
When will you state honor other states CCW? Never.
Don't bum rap Constitutional Carry states.
Your Illinois CCW is honored in Missouri.
And out of state visitors don't need a permit at all.

We've had it a little over a year in Maine.
Blood isn't running in the streets and everyone seems to be behaving themselves. Amazing what happens when government treats responsible adults like responsible adults.

That's actually a problem with states that don't recognize Constitutional Carry.
