The local news did report that, within 2 hours, they were again selling foot-longs for $6....

I don't know about the good shoot part but I imagine his job won't last long. For his sake, hope I'm wrong.

Something tells me the guy that got gut shot won't be ordering a foot long anything for a long time. And just when he was about to come into a couple of bucks in small unmarked bills.

Hope that's a good sign, for the employee. Does anyone know if the robber was armed with a weapon of some sort, or appeared to be? Couldn't tell much from the link.

One channel said the robber was armed with a handgun... Since they have also said charges are unlikely, that makes me believe the perp was in fact armed. Here's a link to a more recent update.

Probably the worst case of indigestion anyone ever got at a Subway.

Losing a job working at Subway. If he don't get over that there isn't much can be said. But, if corporate does fire him for it I will be getting my sandwich somewhere else

The thing that struck me was the customer that said "there's never crime around here."
Where I live the trend seems to be armed robberies and gang violence in areas that were previously considered "safe" suburbs. Don't know if there are more BG's so they were pushed out of their previous territory, or with police presence focused on the inner city, now they see the suburbs as a safe hunting ground.

I can only imagine
The perp was in the process of turning his life around.
Good thing too, apparently armed robbery is not his calling in life.

I am sure by the 6 pm news the perp was just working his way through college with the goal of becoming a Dr. doing medical missionary work in 3rd world nations before the 2nd amendment supporter shot him before calling 911 and waiting 30 minutes for the brutal police arrive on site to intimidate, assault, and violate the poor criminals rights.....
