Default New Green Laser Experience

Recently purchased a green Crimson Trace Laserguard for my Glock 42. I have several red lasers on 2 other small autos (keltec 3AT and Sig 938) as well as a Model 36 S&W. I was vEry pleased with the results of the green and found it easy to see and felt I was more accurate than the red laser. After a few dial in tweaks, I tore the center out of target at about 20 ft. The green Showed up well in daylight too when I took it outside. If you have a small frame carry gun and older eyes like mine, I can highly recommend a laser regardless of color selected. I think you will find it very satisfying and it will make shooting a small frame gun more enjoyable IMO.

I am a longtime owner and user of CT laser grips and laser guard sights on both revolvers and semi autos. All of mine are red. I have a green laserguard on back order at this time for my Shield .45ACP. I have wavered a bit about cancelling the back order and just staying with the red laser with which I am very familiar and satisfied. Your comments have strengthened my resolve to wait on the green one and give it a try. Only downside I can see is that I may wish all my red ones were green!

I am a very satisfied user of the CT laser sights for both EDC and home protection. I do not pay much attention to the laser in daylight, but in low light or no light, for me they make all the difference in the world. I am aware of the critical need for target identification in these situations, and I am prepared to do just that. But I have used just about every type of sight over several years, and after doing so, my personal choice for use of a handgun in low or no light is the CT laser sights.

I wish Crimson Trace would make a compact green laser for J-frame revolvers. I didn't buy the LG-350G because it has an extended grip that detracts from concealability.

Just replaced Streamlight TLR 3 [ a light only] with Streamlight TLR 4G [light and green laser] on my nightstand gun, a FNX 9mm. Turned a very good nightstand gun into a perfect one for me. I have several green and red lasers and the greens work better for my aging eyes.
