I've been spending the last couple of hours searching around the web for an OWB Kydex style holster for my Shield 9mm with Lasermax Centerfire.

I'm finding a surprising lack of options. I've checked Blackhawk, Uncle Mikes, Safariland, and Fobus. I've not found any that make an OWB Kydex (or similar material) paddle holster.

I know Vedder makes one, although from what I've seen it rides a bit high, which I'm not too keen on but I do love Vedder holsters overall and may end up going with it yet...


On a side note...I tried the new aliengear paddle but the retention was insane, so much so that I could barely put the gun in the holster, much less draw it without nearly ripping the holster off my side. FWIW I went back and forth with Aliengear trying every spacer and option available but there was just no way. They mentioned the fit with a lasermax centerfire was "snug"...uh no it's ridiculously tight...they even sent me a couple new shells to try as well, but no dice.

Anyways...does anyone know if any of those brands, or any other, make a paddle style holster for the shield with a laswermax?

Worst case senario I'm going to call them all on Monday and see if maybe they do and it's just not listed on their site, or if I'm missing something?
