Default Current Production holster for Smith 457

What current production holsters fit the Smith 457?

I want to look for a holster that is compatible with the 457. I know I can order a custom one or handmade one but I want to know does anyone know of any current production holsters that will work?

Default 457 Holster

Look at the Don Hume JIT or 715
or call customer service.
Someone will be along that actually has one and
give you better ideas.

Good luck

Also do a search ( 457 holster ) at top of this page and
you will get some ideas.

SIG 229 holsters work, also. I have a couple older Don Humes and a Bianchi that work quite well for the 457.

Default DiSantis Nemesis for waistband carry ...

I have been carrying my 457 and others (including my 547 revolver which is twice as heavy) in the DiSantis Nemisis pocket holster.

THE NEMESIS Holsters, Belt Holster, Taurus Judge Holster, DeSantisHolster.com

The 457 is listed in the ordering form at the link above.

But I don't pocket carry, I carry AISW and the high outer friction holster keeps it in place nicely. For the 457 a #13 Nemesis fits perfectly.

The advantage of a clipless holster is that it can be easily re-positioned for more comfort or better concealment.

Default +1 on the Nemesis

I too am using a DeSantis Nemesis holster for my 457. The Nemesis works well as an IWB holster. Holds the 457 fast yet allows a fast presentation.

I find the 457 in a Nemesis holster to be a perfect summer carry combination. Regards 18DAI
