Default A-Zoom Snap Caps

I just got two packs of A-ZOOM snap caps in yesterday among other items I bought from Midway. I really like them. I was hoping they would fit my moon clips. But they don't. I really like the fact I can finally practice loading and unloading my revolvers safely.

After I got them in. I pretty much spent the rest of the day practice loading my 686 pro over and over again. I did everything from dropping a bullet to accidentally flinging one across the room, well it would had if not for my coffee table being in the way.
Finally once I felt I had the technique down. I dicided to time myself. My best time was a hair over 10 seconds. Y'all old timers can beat that.
My first thought was wow, how long would it take a nooby to load a black hawk or SAA in A fight?!?

Are you using a loader?

With a speed loader I can beat 5 seconds.

I can eject the empties and using a speed loader I can reload either my model 10 or 686 in under 3 seconds easily.

I was loading them in the old fashion way. I don't have a seven shot speed loader. And they don't fit my moon clips.

I'm going to keep at it. I couldn't get it under ten seconds. But I will one day. I'm hoping to bring the old art of combat revolver shooting back to life. Not the Jerry miculek speed shooting. More like bill Jordan and jelly Brice

A more realistic type of reload is the Tactical Reload. Shoot a controlled pair, then open the cylinder, take the two spent casings out and insert two new rounds. Get that under 5 seconds and you're doing good.
