Traveling to Nevada (CCW)
Just found out I am going to Vegas in two months. Nevada does not recognize my state’s carry permit and I do not have enough time for a long waiting period before the trip. I have been looking online, but am having trouble finding the easiest state to get a non-resident permit in that is recognized by nevada. Any recommendations? I will also be in arizona and california during this trip, but will probably have to leave my gun locked in a safe in nevada while we are in california.

Utah non-res is often around 4-5 weeks, according to the inter webs.

Utah requires Utah specific training. Florida does not. Florida costs more. Seems to take about a month or so when done via mail. Good luck and please bring lots of money to Vegas.
Link to Florida turn around time posts on another cite.

I know you’re asking specifically about CCW, but as a non-resident you can open carry in public and your vehicle.

Well, you won't need a permit at all in AZ, at least.

My SC CC instructor adds an hour to his SC class for anyone who wants the Utah CC permit.

The Arizona permit is very reasonable and accepted in a number of states. Check with them to find out wait time.

Virginia permit looks to require nothing but an online class or hunters safety course. I am going to call tomorrow to find out turnaround time

Accouple of years ago Florida was taking just short of 6 weeks ..
haven't heard if that has increased or decreased in time .. that was during a period of high application rate ..
