Default Utah nonresident CFP

I'm looking into getting a Utah non resident concealed firearm permit. The website says it takes about 60 days. Can anyone confirm that it takes that long?
I'll be visiting Washington in September and my home state (PA) does not reciprocate. My trip is a little less than 60 days away and I'm wondering if it's worth trying before I start spending money on the required classroom training, fingerprints, etc.

Well I got mine in under 5 weeks from the time I sent it in!.

I just renewed that permit and the time for that was about 4 weeks. The renewed permit just came in a couple days ago.

Do not know if those are typical but it worked out well for me!

Hmm, that would be cutting it real close. I think the hardest part is finding a class near me within the next few days. I'm striking out so far.

It will depend on how complete your application is. Mine took less than 60days.

You need to check if any of the states that you are passing through does not accept " NON - Resident " permits . I have an Az permit from when I lived there , now in Tx . In planning a trip to Florida I was surprised by all the states that would not accept my " non-resident " permit . If I still lived in Az , then no problem . Good Luck , Paul

I have a current CHL license from Utah. Had for a long time.
It covers many States.
As I live in Texas, I also have a Texas CHL.
I keep both of them current because I want to.

Can't find a class near me that's soon enough to try and get it all done in time. I will just travel unarmed.

Could the fact that AZ went to constitutional carry also be a factor?

It wasn't a matter of " constitutional carry " in Az . Those states simply don't accept " anyones " non resident permit .
