The Best Caliber - Video
This video is a presentation of Greg Ellifritz's report on self-defense based on caliber. We've talked about this before, but this video is really well done.
Take a look: (11 minutes long)

I thought this was well organized and soundly informative. Basically, any gun at any caliber will work....noted. Some have advantages in this or that, but in the end, a gun will stop the bad guy. So own, carry, shoot what you like and what is easier for you.

Not sure I buy into some of the information in the video. I've read contradictory numbers in the past. But interesting video.

There is nothing scientific in this video.
It's a waste of time.

It kind of brings Marshall and Sanow's work to mind.
I tend to favor Drs' Fackler and Roberts' work on the subject.

M&S revealed lack of handgun knowledge of those who believed their pile of worthless garbage. They made a lot of money off of gullible hand gunners.

There’s a long, but decent video from the 80’s on Youtube that goes through some of Fackler’s testing at the Wound Ballistic Lab.
My takeaway from the video was, with pistol rounds, penetration and placement were king.
