Default Local Media coverage ignores Shootings

We have had several fatal shootings in our areas of Imperial County, CA.. Strangely, they seem to be ignored by the local media. During the Christmas season a Federal Taskforce consisting of Fed. Marshals, Sheriffs Dept. and local police conducted raids and arrested 44 wanted felons. A great good, taking them of the streets.

Homeland Sercurity has also apprehended several M13 members here during the last year.

This small area on the U.S/Mex. border has a much larger presence of law enforcement than many cities.

Sadly, you live in a socialist state that will never acknowledge the problems south of the border that are now, north of the border. That and the home grown scum there that have San Francisco types that don't want to insult them by referring to them as convicted felons...I believe the new PC term is court involved people. 2021 is coming and it scares the hell out of me.

IMHO, the "local news" is about as socialist as the mainline news.

If the shootings don't fit the narrative they dont make it on air.

The media doesn't want to publish anything that might in any way shape or form put our presidents actions in a positive light .

Have you noticed absolutely no coverage on a record breaking economy... hardly a word mentioned... I wonder why !

I sat on a grand jury for 4 months in a large metropolitan area. Less than 20% all the homicide cases we did were ever reported by local media. Even less for aggravated assaults and robberies. They only report on the cases that can be sensationalized or when they happen to be at the right place at the right time.

If the media reported on every crime, people would start thinking "hey, maybe I do need a gun to protect myself." Totally not what the media wants.
