Default Tripped in a parking lot last week and fractured my wrist.

Nothing major, should be back to normal in a month or so. However as I was getting ready to go shopping this morning I was reminded why I always practice my handgun shooting using either hand and have an assortment of both right hand and left hand holsters. Just saying, sometimes excrement happens.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I take x-rays for a living. A large portion of wrist fractures are caused when someone tries to break a fall. Better a wrist than a skull. Heal up soon!

I'm left handed and use both hands very well.. I carry primary RH and bug LH..

What would be a problem, my wallet is in RR pocket..So if I hurt my primary hand I couldn't get to my money...

Sorry for your injury, and I hope it heals up properly, but it's also a good reminder. I practice one-handed manipulations and shooting with either hand, though admittedly probably not enough weak-hand only to equal my strong-hand only skill level (such as it is...).

I have given serious thought to getting a left-hand holster, but it's one thing I haven't done yet. My plan, if my right hand were injured enough to require left-hand carry, is to rely on a snub in a pocket holster on my left side. I do practice this from time to time.

I should add that this is a growing concern for me, as I've had recurring issues with tendonitis in both wrists, and I'm beginning to show early signs of osteoarthritis in my fingers. So far, I can handle my guns without issue (*knock on wood*).
