Default Appendix Carry CZ P-01

It feels odd to carry something other than my J/K frame snubs and Third Gen Smiths, but the P-01 was among my favorite non-Smith pistols for years. This one is about 16 years old. Bought it new for a little more than half of today’s MSRP.

Great shooter but rarely carried. It fits most leather holsters for Glock 19 but Kydex requires exact molding. So, the folks at Watchdog Tactical made an AIWB holster and it’s gone into the carry rotation. Pistol is decocked, in DA/SA mode. It is quite comfortable.

I know the feeling. Carried my new Glock 26 yesterday, for the first time. I've always carried a J frame in a pocket. The Glock goes in a Desantis Slim Tuk, behind my hip. I'll most assuredly continue carrying the J frame for EDC, however. Really like the CZ.

Those CZ’s are great guns. If I didn’t have a P365 I might be carrying this.

I have a P-01 Omega that I sent to Cajun Gun Works for their Pro Package.Wanted to try a DA/SA type and thought it would be safer for AIWB carry. It is a great gun. Same size as a Glock 19 with same capacity. I have not carried it much but it is a great shooter. Love CZ's.

Include me in the CZ fan club too. I have several and have used them successfully in my IDPA matches. Ergonomically they can’t be beat IMO.
