I recently bought a S/W 4566 (non TSW) and I'm having a hard time finding both Duty and Off Duty holsters for it. For Duty I need a holster that would go on my Sam Browne, another preferably leather paddle holster for detective like functions. I'm also looking for a Off Duty holster, maybe something IWB. Thanks in advance.

You never can go wrong with a Milt Sparks Versa Max II for IWB. Expensive and you'll have to wait for it but it is well worth it.

Duty: If Safariland makes the ALS (6360 series) for that pistol, it is a WINNER. I use one (6365) for my 1911 and love it. If not, probably the second best is the 070 series. I don't like the 6280 series.

I use a Safariland 200 Top Gun for my 4566TSW. I had the rail taken off because they originally said they wouldn't make one for the TSW guns, so it fits fine. Off duty, I had a Don Hume that was built like a high-riding Askins Avenger. Hume seems to make more leather for S&W than anyone around, though it is not as highly regarded as some of the pricier rigs. Try www.gunnersalley.com for a selection.
I don't know that I've ever seen anyone that makes an IWB for that gun, but I haven't looked too hard.

If you can use a plain black leather duty holster, I have one you can have...I used it for awhile when I worked for an armored car service; it's a Hume 738 I think...it's basically a strong-side, thumb break, and has a tension-adjustment screw for a little more security. I don't have the gun any more, so the holster is just taking up space here. PM me if you're interested.

I use a Sparks VM II for my 5" 629. If it works well for a monster revolver, even a big auto should be a breeze. The quality is definately there. Hume might get you by nicely while waiting.
