Rob up in Alaska of Simply rugged made this Sourdough model redbone pancake which holds the SW 686-3 2.5" very close to the body with comfort and concealment. Very well made and a keeper. I like the mom and pop service and very good workmanship. SW and simply rugged are like bread&butter. The 686 2.5" are very good combat fight-in handguns. I prefer this over auto,s which I do not own any .

Very good holsters indeed. I can make a 4" N frame disappear in one. both visually and weight wise.

I have 3 of Rob's holsters and love them. I have the same Pancake for my 2-1/2" 686-3 and with Ahrends Finger Groove Combat Grips it's a perfect carry combo. I have the same rig for a 3" 629 and it hides just about as well.

I have two of them and like them a lot. Great company and Rob is great to deal with. Very reasonably priced too.

I have a sourdough pancake for 6" N frames. I use one of the silver dollar pancakes when I carry a 640-1 J frame.
Best bang for the buck around.
