What position do you carry IWB?
For those of you unfamiliar with the "body clock," 12:00 is your belly button, so to speak.
I always carry my Glock 19 at the 4:00 position in a Fist #1A holster (similar to my old Alessi Talon that I wore out, and unfortunately Alessi isn't around anymore, but Fist makes good stuff) or a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2. I have tried appendix style carry but the guns seem to print more in that position, and more importantly, it feels horribly uncomfortable whenever you sit down. I know there are people who like appendix carry but it just doesn't work for me.

Try a bobbed hammer snubby in the appendix position if you haven't, Aaron. If you don't have a giant spare tire it should work. I normally carry in each front pocket, and if possible, a 5" 629 in a canted FIST kydex/leather hybrid IWB holster at 3:30.

3:30-4:00 (stronside) for me. Very comfortable with either Galco or Active Pro Gear IWB's.
Be safe.

98% of the time with my 642... appendix. Very rarely I'll carry it at 4 o'clock.
M&P40C: almost 50 / 50 between appendix and 4 o'clock depending on what I'm wearing.

What's with the g19, this is a S-W forum. Joking, thats an excellent weapon. I carry either my 6906, G30 or 5906 at about 1:45 in a Desantis Invisible Agent IWB.

1911 goes slightly past 8:30 (southpaw), so that hammer is pretty much aligned with the seam of my trousers. Not quite 9:00, but almost.

The only comfortable IWB that I have found is 4 o'clock, strongside, but with a reverse carry. The gun butt points forward. Besides being more comfortable when setting, it also seems to keep the butt closer to my body promoting better concealment.
I've heard it called "calvary" carry. Also have read plenty of criticism of the style. But if I feel the need to go IWB its how I roll.
Much prefer a high ride pancake style OWB. Most of the time its just as concealable and way more comfortable/accesible.

Appendix carry is IWB, but at about 1:00 (right in front of the hip bone). Works great foe snubs.

Has anyone had a problem carrying a 19/66 IWB due to the adjustable sights? I have often thought about a 2.5" K Frame IWB but I wonder whether those sights would stick you..

You would want some type of body shield to protect you from the sights and hammer spur (provided the hammer isn't bobbed). It stands to reason that bobbed hammer, fixed sighted revolvers work very well for appendix carry.

I guess it would be called 3:30, it's just behind the point of the hip, both IWB and OWB.

I am right handed and I carry at 6:00 in a left handed IWB neoprene Uncle Mikes. My main carry for the past year or so is a M65 3". But even back when I carried bottom feeders I carried the same way. I carried everything from 1911's to 4" N K Frames at the 6.

I've carried a 3" 19 on a ClipDraw in the appendix position. No problem with the sights but i've "stuck" myself with the other end and it wasn't pleasant.

Behind the right hip--at my age I cannot remember what time it is.
Today a 625-10 in a Hume H 721 OT. Tonight a 325PD in a Galco IWB. Neither gun is ever lonely )

642 at 1:00 works well...am or pm doesn't really matter as you should always carry.

I am a 4 o'clock guy on everything, hate stuff digging into my hip bone at 3. I can't get comfortable at 1-2, and I am not carrying a spare yet (well maybe a lil)...

I go between 3-4 strong side depending on the pants I am wearing and how the belt loops work out. Plus what I am going to be doing. Walking 3 o'clock. Driving between 3:30-4 depending on what I am carrying.

I am surprised that no one carries "Dr. Pepper style" ... 10:00, 2:00, and 4:00. I carried my Officer's Model at 4:00 until recently. Switched to 3:00 a few weeks ago and it is much more comfortable for me. Might have something to do with the spare tire.

3:00-4:00, depending upon the gun and what I'm wearing. The 3" Model 65 works best at 4:00.

I carry at just about 4:00 in a Milt Sparks VM II. I find this 1) very comfortable for all day carry, even while driving, and 2) very accessible for quick draw from under concealment garments. I carry either an S&W M13 or a 1911 in either Commander or Government Model configuration. More typically the M13.

I usually carry at 3:30 - 4:00. However I recently bought a Kahr P45 and a Crossbreed Super Tuck holster. Its a very comfortable holster but the grip sticks out to far unless I carry about 4:30 - 5:00. It then doesn't print under an over sized t-shirt. My S&Ws carry well in a Crossbreed at 3:30 - 4:00.

When I carry IWB it's a 642 at 1-2. Normally the 642 pocket carried or a M60 in a high ride OWB A 4 o'clock...

8:30, butt forward. Gun can be drawn right hand crossdraw, left hand calvary, or right hand from behind the back.

I carry a full size 1911 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special just behind the 3:00 belt loop (3:30). With a Belt Man belt it rides well and feels good all day. Can't stress the importance of a quality holster and belt enough.

N frame
About 4 in the clock. 629 Mountain gun in Galco holster. Works fine for all day carry. Mine has hammer spur removed, and carries a Ti cylinder.

Prefer to have my 24-3 3" on me, about 3-4 o'clock in a nice high ride custom pancake. If not, usually have a G 33 stuck in my waste band about 3 o'clock...the thing just never moves, or in a galco molded ankle holster. 442 (no lock) sometimes in a front pocket just for luck.

I have been trying different carry positions all this week. So far it comes down to 3:00 or 11:00 for me, while IWB.
