If I am to carry a 9, it would have to be my only one:

M&P 9c. My Shield's lighter, more concealable. FS has the capacity, hard to hide, especially in the summer. Compact 9's the best of both worlds.

I occasionally carry my GFs 3914LS. Great gun and so much lighter than my normal 4516-2.

I carry an Ex Cleveland Ohio PD, 5943. when I first got it I hated the dao but now that I am used to it ( maybe 500 rounds through it) I like the idea that the trigger pull is the same all the time. I carry it almost exclusively. With !5 rounds I don't bother with a spare magazine either. I figure if I need more than 15 rounds I am totally screwed anyway.

I cant pick a favorite i love em all. My daily carry is a FL PD 3d gen Glock 19. But i equally love my NYPD 5946 (slightly more so then my Cleveland OH PD 5946) and of course how could i forget my HK USP9 with a light LEV trigger

while i carry the department's gun (G17) 99% of the time because i'd rather theirs rust in an evidence locker than my own....this one is much easier to carry (IWB) and one of my all time favorite guns of any genre.

I have a Glock 19, but carry the 26. Also, I carry (no groaning) a Taurus PT 709 Slim, which has been flawless over 600 rounds. I have a BHP but it's too big and heavy, comparatively.

Well - a bit premature, but I'm hoping it will be my new Sig P938. After a long wait I'm picking it up Tuesday. If it's anything at all like my P238 it will certainly be a favorite.

My Springfield Armory EMP 9mm is my favorite carry arm. It's a scaled down 1911, accurate and totally reliable.

Gave one of my son's an M8 for Christmas about 20 years ago, and one of my grandson's one for Christmas in 2010. I have a Sparks Summer Special in left hand, and an Alessi IWB in right hand. Often carried in a fanny pack for Doctors visits.
I like my BHP, but the P7M8 is the one I carry most for the times a carry a semi auto.

Magnum Research MR9. It uses the Walther P99AS frame and action. I really the Anti-Stress trigger options. It just seems safer than other pistols. Plus, I like the double strike capability. Kind of wish that I had gotten the P99c or S&W99c, for the smaller size.
I was carrying a Kahr CW9, but I found it a little to small for my hands. I replaced the CW9 with a J frame, for summer carry.

That is my favorite gun, period. I've got a 9mm CZ75BD, compact, alloy frame. I also have an EAA Witness, full size, steel frame. The Witness is a great shooter too, but too heavy for carry.

In a free state, Glock 26, Glock 19, or Glock 32 in .357SIG (hyper 9mm).

Sig P228 (enhanced) is my choice. Sent to the factory and they installed all ss parts and nightsights. 13 and 1, in a stainless mag. Smooth and accurate. Would you expect anything else from a Sig?
